Market Feasibility for a Professional Lacrosse Team
Advance Brand Consulting worked closely with the ownership and leadership of a National Lacrosse League franchise to explore markets for potential relocation. The work included in-depth research to identify venues throughout North America that met league and team requirements. We then created a customized scorecard to rank the markets and identified priority options. We researched the key decision makers in each priority market and led outreach, in addition to leading the initial meetings. This lead to qualified leads that were turned over to team management. |

Bringing Denver's Olympic Exploration to Life
In partnership with Rich Dziepak of RLD Strategies, we took the findings and recommendations of the Denver and Colorado Olympic and Paralympic Exploratory Committee, and turned them into a 230-page Final Report. Given Denver's dubious Olympic Games legacy, it was imperative that this report respected the feelings of all stakeholders, while providing a foundation for future efforts. We were responsible for synthesizing the work products and recommendations of each subcommittee into one clear, cohesive vision. This included: creating the overall narrative of the report, drafting original text, editing text submitted by sub-committees, and designing an easy-to-read structure that was accessible to all stakeholders. This report and the progressive ideas contained within it, have established new expectations for all future host cities to strive for. |

Mexico City and Major League Baseball Play Ball
In March 2016, Mexico City welcomed Major League Baseball games back into the city after a 10-year hiatus. Having the Houston Astros and San Diego Padres play two Spring Training games was just part of a larger strategic plan that included Mexico City and MLB partnering on grassroots initiatives, as well as additional economic development initiatives. Advance Brand Consulting, in partnership with Bloomberg Associates, advised both Mexico City and Major League Baseball on the framework for their partnership and served as a key advisor to all parties to bring the partnership to completion. |
